    Fallout 3 Mods

There are HUNDREDS of crappy little edits and things people have made for the game already. There are so many crappy mods it hurts. My idea is to list all the cool ones we know of and find in here.

Ill start off with this. These guys have been making all the Fallout 1 and 2 weapons for the game. Apparently its got a few issues with reloading animations and the flares, but they are still working things out, and from what they say most of it works just fine.

    Re: Fallout 3 Mods

This mod adds more realistic guns to the wasteland.
Enemies will also carry them as well.
So far it's pretty good, though I haven't tried it long.
Adds more ammo types to the wasteland as well.

Is fallout 3's mod scene anything like oblivion's, where 80% (or more) of all the mods are just aimed at making the game as perverse as possible?

I suppose making a mod that allows you to play the game with one hand would make you popular Red Dragon!

                    DOOT DOOT.

Some cool mods Ive come across. Im definatly going to try out the "Nailed to Death", and "25mm AA autocannon minigun" ones later. Nailed to Death supposedly makes super mutants more like oldschool super mutants, in that they are strong as hell, have a ton of HP and all carry heavy weapons.

                    Nailed to Death

25mm Auto cannon minigun People complain in the comments that it breaks too fast, but the guy just updated it so we'll see.

Crusader Power Armor Totally broken and over powered, but hey thats what Power Armor should be and it looks cool as all hell.

Drivable Chimera Tank If they can do this, where my friggin Mad Max interceptor or ridable raider motorcycles?!

Human Catapult. The video made me laugh at least. Poor Dogmeat. D:

I saw a video of the motorcycles. they look awful, and they move awful, and they're just... awful.

                        they move more like snowmobiles

                            Re: Fallout 3 Mods

Depends on your version of "good".

It gives the creatures and things a more realistic feel to them. It's Nailed to Death, but with all creatures instead of just Mutants. Stick it on Very Hard and decrease your End to 2 to juice up some other skills and you have yourself a tough time early on.

And it really stinks early in the game unless you actually raid some big weapons or somthing. I actually got chased down half the map by a crowd of molerats, I finally killed some of them then shook the rest off, only to be confronted by Raiders. At this point I have no ammo, armor, or many stim packs to spare. So I head for the hills. Well the hills have eyes because a crowd of maybe 20 Night Ghouls (they look like bluish glowing ghouls with a ton more HP than regular) intercepted the radiers, killing them off then chased me into the minefield. So now the Sniper is shooting at me and I have an army of ghouls on my butt. Finally I jump in one of the wrecked buildings and just have them break off the attack.

Then there is the Tenpenny Tower quest, again with regular ghouls just flooding the sewers. You can't normally get past them, I had to use a Fat Man to kill them all and even then, that's just 1 group. The whole sewer system is clogged with them, It really looks cool as well though as they are all different sizes, shapes, and colors.

Just to add a mod to the topic:
                            http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2399

You can make almost anyone in the game your companion. It's quite fun. Some cheap moments though like you can just ask the people to give you all thier stuff.
