I just realized yesterday why I really do not like playing my Wii. I had it set up to be played on my 65" DLP, and on the main menu screen, the little cursor icon was VERY unresponsive. Like, half the time, it would disappear, or it was really jittery, like I barely moved, and it was halfway across the screen.
I'm kinda redoing my setup a bit, and am gonna try to have my 32" Sony LCD set up in a permanent fashion. My brother was over yesterday after Easter, so I took a few minutes to put the sensor bar on the Sony, and, lo and behold, the Wiimote worked like a charm!
I think my other TV was just way too big for the Wiimote to be compatible with it (the shakin' and wagglin' I never had an issue with...just when I was trying to "point" to anything). Plus, as the Sony is only 720p (which surprised me when I bought it that the top of the line Sony, the XBR series, which this one is, is still only 720p in the 32" size...but in the long run, that may not bew such a bad thing), I have a feeling that games like FFCC:MLaaK that looked like straight-up garbage on my bigger 1080p TV are gonna look at least decent on the 32".
Wall of text being done, I'm not sure what to play. I tried to play Super Metroid last month, but only got to the first planet or whatever after I escaped the opening explosion sequence. I kinda lost interest at that point.
