On where? Are you saying you can backup PS1 games to the PS3?Originally posted by Jeroak Nelave View PostI'm surprised i havent done this with FF7 yet...but i'm trying to do it with games i havent beat yet...thats why i've put Thousand Arms, BoF4, and FFIX on there.AIM: JeremyLaCroix

He's most likely talking about playing PS1 games on the PSP.Originally posted by JLaCroix View PostOn where? Are you saying you can backup PS1 games to the PS3?
Which is what I do. I have a huge backlog of PS1 games and 90% of them are PSP compatible. I just cranked out Heart of Darkness and feeling pretty good...

Well, I just dusted off FF7 and played it on my PS3. TERRIBLE!!! The game looked horrid. There were artifacts everywhere, and major slowdown during summons. If they are releasing FF7 on PSN, I have no idea how this is going to work...AIM: JeremyLaCroix

That fixes the artifacts? For example, the cursor during battles blinked between the cursor and a floating black box.Originally posted by Valkysas View Postturn on smoothing. press PS button.AIM: JeremyLaCroix

Re: FF7 on PSN! Play FF7 on PSP!
there's all sorts of graphical glitches that come up in PS1 games with the smoothing thing turned off. for instance, when playing RE3, Jill was always at the top graphic layer for me, even if behind an object. smoothing turned on, it went back to normal.
"smoothing" seems to be sony's term for "unbreak game".Last edited by Valkysas; 04-12-2009, 01:50 AM.

Gotcha. It seems to help with Castlevania SOTN, although there were still a few graphical anomalies.Originally posted by Valkysas View Postthere's all sorts of graphical glitches that come up in PS1 games with the smoothing thing turned off. for instance, when playing RE3, Jill was always at the top graphic layer for me, even if behind an object. smoothing turned on, it went back to normal.
