Re: Amazon now selling Xbox Live Marketplace Games
Oh, I can always find a use for my points. If nothing else, use them for Rock Band.
I actually prefer that system to that on the PSN, where not only do they charge you tax, but in doing so, they no longer let you add exactly enough money to cover what you are purchasing if you are using a debit/credit card. So you'll always have odd amounts in your wallet that just go to waste until you make your next purchase, after which you'll STILL have money left over, just in a different amount.
I DO like, though, that you can manually delete credit card info from any PSN account. One time, one of the guys I live with's son bought a 360, and I entered my credit card info into his account to get him some points to buy a game or themes or whatever, thinking I would be able to delete that info just like I am able to do on PSN. No dice. I had to sit on the phone with a Microsoft rep for like half an hour to get that info off his account, and had to give a ton of information. AND to top it all off, it was not instantaneous. It was gonna take like a week or something, during which time he could not change his account status (his free Gold trial was about ready to end, but he could not put another code in or even pay for Gold until the whole thing cleared). Talk about a pain in the ass.Last edited by Perversion; 04-08-2009, 05:57 PM.

I don't either...ever since I began getting stuff from the Playstation Store. The XBLA stuff just seems so shallow and empty by comparison.
