    Spider-Man 4 & 5

    WHAAAAAAAAAT

Last week, director Sam Raimi revealed that on Spider-Man 3, he didn't have complete control over what villains to include, but for the next two movies he does. For Spider-Man 4 and Spider-Man 5 (which are expected to film back-to-back) it's now been revealed that Raimi plans to tell one big story that will incorporate elements from classic plot lines from the comics, with Spider-Man 5 in particular focusing on one of Spidey's most beloved tales. In Spider-Man 4, Peter Parker will find the spider inside him lashing out, with his powers going violently out of control. Seeking help from his professor, Dr. Curt Connors, Peter discovers that Connors and his colleague Dr. Michael Morbius are actually both experimenting on incorporating animal blood (reptiles and vampire bats) into humans. When Parker loses control in their laboratory, the antidotes that the scientists were using to keep themselves human are destroyed, causing them to become The Lizard and the vampire-like Morbius, even as Spidey goes fully spider, with four more arms popping out like a true arachnid. The three monsters break out into the streets of New York, creating havok, which soon attracts the attention of a big game hunter named Kraven. Kraven's introduction will pave the way for Spider-Man 5, which may have the subtitle Kraven's Last Hunt, in which Kraven returns to New York City after Spider-Man has regained his humanity, to hunt Spidey once more.
finally, the Lizard. they've been sitting on that one since the second damn movie. I like this. at first, I thought they were getting at using the Other as the basis for the movie, but it looks like they're talking Man-Spider. and the inclusion of Kraven, and possibly a movie based entirely around Kraven's Last Hunt, thrills the hell out of me. I'm kind of ambivalent about Morbius.

still hoping for a movie based on Death in the Family, one of the best Spider-Man stories of all time. but they kinda ****ed themselves out of that one by getting rid of Harry so quickly. honestly, after Spider-Man 3 (and numerous disappointments regarding movies based on Marvel franchises), I'm really hoping that this will be as great as it could be.

OR APPARENTLY THE JOKE IS ON US.

I guess we'll speculate then. yeah, I say the Lizard would make a good villain.

Honestly, I was hoping that they would do without the whole Man-Spider thing. It never really went well with me. My memory is fuzzy, but I think he eventually did away with that part of him when this vulture-eque villian absorbes it out of his body or something stupid like that. What I want to know is when the hell are they going to introduce the King Pin? He was a major part of the series and has connections with some of major villians in the series. I want to see Spider-Man taking on those arachnid bots. Then again, I also wanted to see Hob Goblin, but we know better/

Yeah, Spider-Man 3 was pretty bad. It threw too many villains and little plots at us. Kirsten Dunst was especially awful.

I'm really hoping that Spiderman 4 will reveal that Spiderman 3 was all a dream.
I am not to optimistic about these movies, I lost all hope when I watched the third one. And if I remember right the first two really weren't all that great.

I haven't seen them since they came out, hell I can't even remember the villain in the second movie.

IS this really just an April Fool's prank?

I can't believe you clods think MAN-SPIDER would make for a better movie than Spider-Man 3.

                              Which was an absurd delight.

                              Man-Spider. Seriously. MAN-SPIDER?
