I've been playing Rune Factory Frontier for the Wii almost religiously since it was released a few weeks ago, and i absolutely love the game, but for some reason, i ALWAYS have to sit through the intro when I start playing. I havent been this enthralled by an intro scene since Suikoden 3. I like the funky jpop song, and the cute anime characters...there is just something about it.

It's catchy, I'll give it that.

To be quite honest though, I'm attracted to the art style, but not a big fan of the anime cutscenes.

But the game kicks ass though!

I've made it to the ice ruins, but I'm taking a little break from in. 30 hours in and still in the first summer, I know I still have some milage left out of this game.

Is it any real difference from Rune Factory on DS? It seems to have the same main characters.

Yeah it has a pretty similar formula to the DS games, and they explain why alot of the same chareacters appear, but it is really fun, and works really well IMO as a Wii game (although i'm using the classic controller, so it would have been fine on the PS2 or PS3 for me).

Edit: Oh Big, did i tell you that I found a used copy of HM64 for $20 last weekend, so i picked it up. I dont know if i will ever play it, but i picked it up!
