    Dear Marcus

When I play a game on the X-box the X button is on the left, and when I play the same game on a Playstation the X button is on the bottom, but on my old Super Nintendo it's on the top.

    Help.

The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

And don't forget on the gamecube it's on the right.

And how in the hell am I supposed to play games on virtual console? Where in the hell are my damn C-Buttons?

How come in Japan X is the "cancel" button but in American it's the "ok" button.

That's got to be a metaphor for something!

            Re: Dear Marcus

It makes sense that X would mean no, while circle would be close to OK. The only other thing I can think of is the "batsu" or crossed arms gesture, which means "no."

But since that does makes sense ,why do us gaijin get the opposite in most games?

                Re: Dear Marcus

Because X marks the spot? Or X is sometimes used in place of a check mark to indicate a positive response?

Also it's right where we're used to pressing.

Unless we grew up with Nintendo controllers; then it's ass-backwards.

                        'X' easy to push.
                        Circle farther from your thumb.

So why don't they make the easy to press button the circle button?

And is the OnLive controller really going to have L I V E on the buttons? I find that harder to believe than the magical lag free streaming tech.
