My wife subscribed to a newspaper to get the Sunday coupons. We've not been getting the coupons for a while, and this morning the paper was separated and put back in the bag, so I KNOW someone is taking them. (I live in an apartment complex, by the way). So now I turn to you guys. What should I do to unmask the culprit?

Re: Someone Is Stealing My Sunday Paper Coupons. What Should I Do?
There used to be a guy who would take our Sunday paper right off our steps and replace it with the previous weeks paper (maybe he was in cahoots with homeless black woman from my previous stories). This happened four or five times, until I was at the store across the street and saw him doing it. So I followed him and found out where he lived, took last weeks paper he left on our steps, and threw it at his house with a note attached saying if he did it again I was calling the cops.
Then I ran away so he wouldn't see me, cause he was bigger than me.Last edited by Ryner; 03-29-2009, 12:52 PM.Ryner's Games

It's the principle of the whole thing. Besides, they're for her, not me.Originally posted by Biggie View PostIs this what I'll complain about when I get older? Coupons?AIM: JeremyLaCroix

Re: Someone Is Stealing My Sunday Paper Coupons. What Should I Do?
I could contact the newspaper, find out the general timeframe that the delivery person gets to your area to deliver the paper, and be awake when it arrives. When it arrives, hopefully you can see where they drop the paper off from the window or something, and when you see someone walk up, open the door to get the paper right then. You will either startle the person where they will run away, or they will come up with some story. Be nice, just tell the person 'Yeah, the coupons have been getting stolen from my paper recently, so i'm just making sure i get the paper first, thank you for your concern/attentiveness (whatever fits for the situation), i was hoping to confront the person taking the paper, but its nice to know i have neighbors watching out for me'. Its very unlikely that once they have been caught in the act, that they will do it again.
And if for some reason you get the paper when it arrives, and it doesnt have the coupons in it, then complain to the newspaper company or whatever.Vita, 3DS, PSP, PS3, PC, WiiU, Wii & 360

Re: Someone Is Stealing My Sunday Paper Coupons. What Should I Do?
Step one get an old copy of the paper.
Step two stake out the morning delivery guy.
Step three put old paper in place of new one.
Step four back in step one put dog **** or other disgusting substance inside the paper where the coupons would be.The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

That's probably what we'll do.Originally posted by Jeroak Nelave View PostI could contact the newspaper, find out the general timeframe that the delivery person gets to your area to deliver the paper, and be awake when it arrives. Re: Someone Is Stealing My Sunday Paper Coupons. What Should I Do?
you can mention the occurrence with your paper provider and find some kind of alternative. perhaps placing it in a different location? maybe knowing what time it will arrive? just work with them and im sure they will help you find a proper solution.

That's needlessly complicated when all he has to do is wake up super early on Sunday and wait for the coupon theif. The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.
