Finally got a job (after nine months of searching)

I got a job prepping cars at a car dealership. I started Wednesday, and had to take a stupid three hour test on sexual harassment (because if it wasn't for this test, you'd know I'd be hitting on all the guys I'm working with) and discrimination on Tusday before I started.

Now since I got this job, I'm not going to have much time to work on RPGM2 and go online. It's cool, though, because now I can start saving some money for a car and stuff.

Congrats, Navane. And don't joke about the 3 hour sexual harassment video. I think you're well aware that blue collar jobs where the majority of the workforce is male are also jobs where the majority of the workforce is closeted.

I remember the harrassment CBL for Wal-Mart. Well I remember that we should only call people by the name displayed on their nametag since any nickname may be considered offensive or insulting, if not by the person you're referring to then maybe by someone overhearing it.

And that we can date other hourly associates but not managers unless the manager's position is completely seperate from ours and they have no influence on our tasks or evaluations.

My brother is actually the one that got me the job.

The job is okay, but my feet were killing me because I'm not used to standing on cement for 8 hours. The people are also kinda crappy, too. I'm definitely not used to hanging out with people that drop three f-bombs in one sentence. At least the people I used to hang out with didn't curse like that. Oh well, it's still a job that I'm glad I got.

Somehow (probably by someone inserting a random middle initial into my name in a derogatory offhand comment) today, my coworkers guessed that my middle name was Richard, and thus, for a portion of the rest of the day, they amused themselves by telling anyone else that had not yet heard that my middle name is Dick. Is THAT sexual harassment?

For the record, I took it in stride.
