Just got back from a drive from San Antonio, TX to Bilouxi, Mississippi via I-10 East.

Along the way I noticed the following businesses that are elite to probably everywhere else except San Antonio -

Waffle House (1,000s of em)
BP petro station (so that's what that damn logo in GT4 is...I like it)
7/11 (yes, what a crime)

tons others that escape my mind right now...

Lessee.. I have, as far as places that serve breakfast all day go:

Waffle House x2
Huddle House x2
IHOP
Denny's
Cracker Barrel

The town I live in is one of those highway stops that thrives on highway business. Restaurants, hotels, motels, camps, franchises, etc.

The people that live here either work at the local Air Force Base (which thankfully wasn't shut down in the last AF decision-making period) or work at the local franchises. Basically, our town's one of those good marketting spots right at the state border that every big company tries to get in on, and a culture of nightly bar-going grunt workers has developed from it. Nice town. Boring, but nice.

Oh, did I mention we have not one, but 2 Wal-Marts? One of them is the second largest Super Wal-Marts in the nation.

We also have a private theme park nearby, which I work at. The place tries to compete with Disney and Universal by offering people on the highway going to or coming from Disney a place with the most rides, short lines, and low costs. *shrug* It's not a bad place. about $50 will get you admission for the entire year to that park and another park in Florida. Pretty nice right now, but it's fixing to rise.

Shinanign went there every year, I heard.

Well, doesn't mean you'll find me though. I work in the back wiring fireworks.

You can watch my handiwork every night 15 minutes before the park closes though.
