Why No Negative Reputation?

    Why No Negative Reputation?

    I've been to a few different vBulletin Boards (such as this one), and they all have Positive/Negative Reputation. All I can give here is positive. Is it because I'm a new member? But when I look around everyone has loads of Positives.

            we do that enough by calling them out on their sucky posting, no need to use neg rep as a bomb. use different methods to reach the same conclusion.

                It was leading to way too much infighting and drama, so negative rep was wisely removed a year or so ago.

                If someone's post ****** you off, just don't give them any positive rep for a while. Or better yet, reply to the post and let them know why they've got their head up their ass.

                  I miss it. Neg rep was a wonderful feature I wish I could continue to utilize.

                    The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

                          pretty much what others said for the reason it's gone. it was even being used to repeatedly flame people that some people didnt like. they'd hound after the person, and every single post they made, regardless of quality, would get neg rep and a mean comment with it.

                            Look it was either get rid of negative rep or have Gort destroy the world.
