    Who here is going to Comicon this year?

        Most likely he's talking about San Diego.
        The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

            If there's ever a nerd herd event in Chicago, I might attend.


            Yeah, right. I've never even been to the Pitchfork music festival, that other offshoot/whatever music festival that's also here, or Lollapalooza since they moved it here permanently. And I have more interest in those things than Comicon.


            I did go to some comic thing here back when Episode 1 was still current, and talked to Anthony Daniels in a Q and A, as well as the guy who played Darth Maul (Ray Park or something). Also gave Kevin Smith a tape my buddy and I made, but didn't actually want to meet Kevin Smith, nor stand in line for two hours to do so. So we handed the tape to some manager or security guy or something.


            Later that night, we saw Eyes Wide Shut opening night. We were not sober for any of this, and I'm not indicating we were drunk.

                Well, I'm pretty sure there's some sorta big convention in Chicago. (I think Carpricon's in that area. At least, for all the times I attended.) But if you're willing to travel a few states away, Marcon's in Columbus. (And that's, like, the biggest con in the midwest.)

                I'll be sure to post pictures I take at the convention!
