I Just Bought a PS3

I got a refurbished 60GB off of eBay for just over $300. I'm a little worried about potential scratches or whatever, but it has a good enough warranty that I'm not worried about it functioning right.

I'm gonna get MGS4, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, and Valkyria.

What else should I be looking into?

Killzone 2 and LittleBigPlanet each put me on cloud nine.

Valkyria is a great one too!

MGS4 is an excellent game, but it seems to be hit or miss with most poeple. Oh, and MGO is gay.

look at each game carefully before you buy it. microsoft likes shoving money into pockets to make sure PS3 versions of certain games get screwed on add-ons. Rockstar and Bethesda are the ones that screw over fans with this practice the most.

graphic differences between the two are pretty much gone now, with developers finally knowing how to use the PS3. so it mostly comes down to who you want to play the game with, and what system they have the game for.

If it has any kind of multiplayer, I always go for 360.

Actually, I don't think I've ever boughten a third party title on PS3.

I probably will get FFXIII for it, considering it was developed for that platform first and foremost.

Actually, developers are now developing on the PS3 first, and then porting it to the 360.

Seeming as the PS3 is generally a much harder of a system to develop for given it's unfamiliar architecture, developers who want to develop for multiple platforms are tending to do it for the PS3 first seeming as if it'll work on there it'll work on the 360.

Armored Core: For answer is fun. However, I got stuck on one mission though that's basically impossible for me to do. One of these days I am going to have somone help me online to beat it... Then again, maybe not as I have yet to play online with anyone on my PS3.

I also have Overlord, Stranglehold, and Saint Row 2.

All of which are on PC...

But I had a gift card soooooo....

Oh, and Bladestorm is a fun game if you like games like Dynasty Warriors only with troops instead of a one-man killing machine.

And, of course, all of them are on 360 as well.

As usual in these topics, I'll let everyone else recommend disc-based games, and I'll recommend PSN games.

Nice, I was going to make one of these topics only for consideration of a purchase.

So far, on the list in order of interest is:
LittleBigPlanet (Purchase)
Street Fighter 4 (Purchase... again)
God of War 3 (Upon release)
MGS4
Killzone 2
Ratchet & Clank
Resistance 2
Valkyria Chronicles
Disgaea 3
Uncharted
Folklore
Resistance: Fall of Man
Heavenly Sword


And that's where I run out of ideas. LittleBigPlanet and Street Fighter 4 are the only known purchases, and Heavenly Sword/Resistance 1 are known rentals along with possibly Folklore (I work at GameStop). I feel like I'd buy Killzone 2 and MGS4.... maybe?

I'm lost. I NEED me some LittleBigPlanet but I can't find out what else I'd get. I know I'd get SF4 so I'd have it for both consoles and could play the entire interwebz. Aside from that, not sure.

Oh, and almost all multi-platform games = 360 for me. The majority of my friends play on Live. Even if it's not multiplayer, I can get in a party with them all and discuss the single player goodness.
