I'll just have to let my nephew know I can never help him with his shoddily made Wii kids games anymore.

I think he was insinuating that his nephew owns a bunch of Wii shovelware, instead of quality Nintendo product like Animal Crossing.

You know, the Nintendo seal and all...

        Oh, wait...

Nintendo's approval process is like throwing a hot dog down a hallway.

I was definitely insinuating that he owns shovelware. Nothing to do with Animal Crossing itself, just the pedo-joke of the topic.

...You know I'm kidding, guys. Animal Crossing is fine, just not my thing.

It's seriously insane to think there's any potential for criminal pedophilia in gaming. If you're right near a kid, you're either going to do something or you're not, and communicating through Ping Pals isn't going to change anything. If you're not near a kid, I don't see what anyone can do in that case besides try to lure a kid to meet them, and there you're dealing with the same problem that comes with any form of distance-communication in the world.

                I own City Folk.

When I read that article, I just laughed my ass off.

Partially because I kind of think that sometimes. "I'm full grown ass man, why the **** am I playing this ****?"

You think THAT'S bad...I've got probably 12-15 years on you, Bigfoot, and I originally bought my Gamecube specifically to be able to play the original AC.

What's funny is they keep targeting the only console maker that's actually going out of their way to limit unwanted communication (to the detriment of the gaming experience). Meanwhile actual cases of predators targeting children are occurring on PSN and XBL. I think the worst thing I've heard of actually happening on a Wii or DS were those used copies of ACWW with the n-word.
