    Making An Ultimate Music Playlist

( Mostly Rock/Metal/Techno/Classical Rock stuff, but any suggestion is cool ).

I want to make a playlist of pretty much the better songs by bands, any suggestions will be looked at so far I have...

    Muse
    We Are Scientists
    Maximium The Hormone
    Slayer
    Metallica
    Megadeath
    Three Days Grace
    Pantera
    Van Halen
    Disturbed
    Children Of Bodom
    Billy Talent
    Daft Punk
    Mudvayne
    Slipknot
    Queens Of The Stone Age

These may or may not be obtained through Limewire or other piracy programs...

Any suggestions, I think im good on Metal. But Rock needs a bit. Classical Rock NEEDS A LOT, and Techno needs quite a bit.

Do you like Godsmack or Alice in Chians?

And I don't know about you but I love me some Ozzy Osbourne. CRAZY TRAIN, NO MORE TEARS, BARK AT THE MOON.

Then there is the classic Zeppelin. STAIRWAY, KASHMIR, THE IMMIGRANT SONG!

And I love the song STILLBORN by Black Label Society.

Plus some Rob Zombies. DRAGULA, THUNDERKISS '65

Oh yeah and Motorhead covered Ozzy's HELLRAISER, it's sweet.

Massive Attack has some cool songs, kinda weird though.

You should check out the band Hurt. They got some cool songs like TEN TON BRICK and RAPTURE!

I second Da Funk for Daft Punk, unless you decide on Rollin' and Scratchin'. Or Revolution 909. Or really anything from Homework that's not entitled "Around the World" or "Teachers." Can't tell you much about any of the other artists you listed.

Classic rock (NOT Classical rock) tracks I would recommend:

Either The End or When the Music's Over by The Doors
Anything from the first Velvet Underground album (my faves being Heroin, Femme Fatale, and Venus in Furs)
            Anything by Genesis pre-Invisible Touch
For some foreign "classic rock," try the song Spoon or Mother Sky by the German band Can (they sing in English, though)

*insert obligatory Pink Floyd and Led Zep songs here*

I know you said you're already good with the metal, but here's one more you should consider adding.

                  Tourniquet: Vanishing Lessions

                  Song: Vanishing Lessons
Twothorp was in immense pain. The blisters did not care.

Re: Making An Ultimate Music Playlist

Just grabbed a handful of songs from my personal collection to throw out there.

Coheed and Cambria - Time Consumer
                    Interpol - Obstacle 1
The Mars Volta - Inertiatic ESP
Modest Mouse - Doin' The Cockroach
                    Soundgarden - Rusty Cage
MC5 - Kick Out the Jams
                    Rollins Band - Liar
Mr. Bungle - Travolta(aka Quote Unquote)
                    Rush - Tom Sawyer

Gotta plug the band in my sig/avatar, Radiohead, too. If you want something techno-ish, "Idioteque" is good. For a more conventional pick, I'd go with "The National Anthem" or "Paranoid Android".
