    50% off movies/music at Borders

Well, the one near me had this deal, anyway, as they were going to stop carrying those at the store I went to today. I walked out dropping $250, but got the following:

Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex Season 1...reg price $100
    The Decalogue (Kieslowski)...reg price $77
    A Clockwork Orange on Blu-Ray...reg price $29
    Persona (Bergman)...reg price $25
    L'Age D'Or (Buñuel/Dali-1930)...reg price $25
Saló Or The 120 Days of Sodom (Pasolini)...reg price $40
    Pandora's Box (Pabst-1929)...reg price $40
    El Norte (Nava)...reg $40
    Caligula...reg $40
    Un Chien Andalou (Buñuel/Dali-1929)...reg $20
    Metropolis (Lang-1927)...reg $29

Now to make Mora happy, I just need to watch GitS.

If he got A Clockwork Orange on Blu-ray for $15, that's a pretty good deal.

        ha!

Yeah...you can go everywhere and get a box set of 5 discs of Ghost in the Shell for $50. (/sarcasm). I typed in the regular prices...what I paid was half of those. And those regular $40 ones are Criterion Collection DVDs, which you generally can't find cheaper than $35 brand new.

              You can, actually!

And here's the kicker: they're on Netflix's instant watch list.

A sacrifice, but definitely one worth $50.

                    Sorry...just checked...yeah, there's seven.

And Mora...the one you linked to is not the one I got...I have the one on the same page that's the third one down that 26% of the people bought. Not 100% sure what the difference is (maybe just slimline cases?)

They're basically the same thing, minus the cover art. You got swindled, bra!

Thanks for giving me buyer's remorse, there, Mora.

Weird, because the one you linked to says 660 minutes, and the one I got, as listed on Amazon, says 750 minutes, even though the box in my hands says 660 minutes. I'm guessing it's because of the shorts.

Plus, the one you linked to is from Anchor Bay, which generally indicates to me budget bin stuff (at least, that's what it was when I used to work at Best Buy). The one I got is from Manga Entertainment. So did I really get ripped off, when all I did was pay an extra $5 from the Amazon price and get the extra 90 minutes?
