GameRankings Punches Self in Groin Repeatedly

After over a week of re-tooling, GameRankings now looks like a badly modded version of GameFAQs, and they've dumped the useful "Recent Top Games" front page list for the utterly garbage "New Releases" list. Yup, you can now be the #1 Newest Game to come out. Oooooooh.

    Damn you, CNet.

How Badly Do You Want It? (VX Ace) is now available for download! - no outside software necessary.

Why did they do this to themselves? Are they part of GameFAQs now?

Gamerankings, GameFAQs, and Gamespot are all owned by the same corporation.

Of course! Groin abuse = web design!

I'm probably the only one that doesn't hate the design but only hates the homepage.

In terms of browsing the games and what-not I think it's a lot more streamlined and somewhat more pleasing to the eye than the old website.

However I never really visted and explored the old website all that throughly.

In the end, EVERYTHING is owned by one world wide Super Corporation. They also control all aspects of peoples lives and world events.

they also own metacritic. which seems to make gamerankings completely redundant. and ugly.

I always read gamerankings as "gamera kings." That's the limit of my involvement with them.
