    Uum... I'm kind of ****ed...

Was it the PS3 version of BioShock that sucked or am I thinking of Orange Box? I ask because I just bought BioShock and wanted to make sure that version didn't blow.

Haven't given BioShock PS3 a try but Orange Box for PS3 is pretty bad. There's this constant static buzzing that pops up every once in a while. Not that often, but often enough to **** you off. Should I also mention the occasional slow down and lag?

I just played through the entire collection, myself, and god damn that was enjoyable. Can't wait for Episode Three.

I tried to play the first Half-Life on the Dreamcast, and just remember riding an elevator forever, and then not having much fun besides throwing garbage cans around at some bum in a train station or something.

I have The Orange Box for the 360, but really have no desire to play the other games besides finishing up the last two levels of Portal that I'm stuck on.

"Every once in a while", as in, when you hit a section of the game and it keeps buzzing until you hit another section.

I know that it sounds like an oxymoron but that was the best way I could describe it.

I understand what you meant; I was merely giving you s***.

bioshock on PS3 is fine. it has some graphic issues, but nothing that actually hurts the game.

I wish I saved the pictures but basically every once in a while the game stops anti-aliasing so you get this grainy, pixelated textures and crap. Other than that, it plays just like the other versions.

Some devs still don't know how to use the PS3 and it's apparent in multi-console releases. The shadows in the PS3 version of Fallout aren't as detailed as the 360 version (Gamestop did a comparison in December and the PS3 one doesn't even have water reflections).

and until yesterday, the 360 version didnt have specular lighting while the PC and PS3 versions have since release. and the 360 version still doesnt have full specular lighting. also, the PS3's textures are dramatically sharper than the 360 versions (just look at hair).

The Dreamcast version never came out.

you could download it, put it on a CD-R, and play it anyways. when it was cancelled, it was immediately "leaked" onto the internet. the entire game was done.

                              oh yeah.

that makes SO MUCH MORE SENSE than just playing it on your PC.
