Oh, hey. That Tenchu game for the Wii is already out.

I saw it at the store today. Not like there's anything else out on the Wii worth buying until March 11th (MadWorld). I'll probably end up picking it up in a couple of months after I clear out some more of my backlog. I've never played a Tenchu game before and it looks pretty rad.

Hey, hey, hey... We'll have none of that fish-sticks. Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven for the PS2, and Tenchu Z for the 360 are fun. Easy (most of the time), but still fun. If you like sneaky ninja games, then Tenchu is for you.

Just remember, the game punishes you for trying to go all "Ninja" Gaiden on their ass. So no Ryu impersonations.

The first Tenchu was great and had an awesome soundtrack. I didn't like the ones after that at all.

Isn't the first Tenchu the last one chronologically?

I can't follow this series at all and Tenchu 2 really put me off. I will say that Tenchu 1 and 2 had some imaginative bosses (I seem to remember this MIDGET RIDING A TIGER).

This one is actually created by the orginal people who worked on the first Tenchu, and this one apparently pretends the sequels never happen.

So, what, everyone is going to complain about the dearth of good games for the system and when a good one finally gets released you are going to ignore it?

I liked Wrath of Heaven which is apparently one of the not good Tenchus so I guess I'll like this one as well. But I have neither a Wii nor a PSP right now though I am currently considering picking up both at some point.
