There was an animated movie that my siblings and I rented from Blockbuster many years ago, and now, I don't even know where to find it.

It's about these groups of animals (a fox, badger, mole, some peacocks, a snake, a frog, and others) who are traveling amid dangerous terrain to a certain park where "animals are protected by humans." The frog seems to know about this place having been there before, and so before these various animals travel, they make an oath that they would not eat one another during this trek. There are many casualities involved, but the ending is kind of happy.

The original tv series was pretty dark for a cartoon. Most of the leading cast died by the end of it.
