Older Computer Game Suggestions

I want to start buying some decent older computer games (like in the last 5 years maybe) since EA has made me paranoid of new games. Any suggestions?

Kings Quest Collection.

Yeah, I went there.

Dunno what you're into, first things that come to mind that haven't been suggested are Star Trek: Bridge Commander, Battlezone 2, or Battlefield 1942.

There are some great deals on older games on Steam. You can get, like, 20 games for $99 that are usually around $250 in value.

Direct 2 Drive has it, as well as Kings Quest and Police Quest I believe.

Man, where is Quest For Glory Collection? I still haven't beaten QFG4 because every time I play it the thing gets a major game-ruining bug.

Forgiven! I agree with everything on Karim's list, and if you get Bloodlines make sure you download the latest fan patch or whatever, should be easy to find.

I just got into a lot of the LucasArts adventure games, namely the Monkey islands. 1 and 2 are abandonware now, so thos are good enough to get your feet wet with. 3 is the best, and 4 is somewhat disappointing. ALL, however are funny, clever, and really some of the best written stories around. Oh, and I don't know if it's free or not, but LOOM is also great if you need a good adventure.
