Simply put, I'm trying to make a game out of an RP that me and a few others failed to create. I'll be putting the details in different installments because, honestly, there is a lot of ****. First I'll start with the general storyline. Not the greatest thing of earth, but when several people that can't agree on anything get together you have to settle somewhere. While that is no longer the case, thought I keep parts of it. There originally no main character so that is the biggest change.
STORYLINE
16 years ago an unclaimed galaxy was discovered. The two great powers of the universe Aeonix and Grasada both wished to claim this new galaxy as their own. Shortly after the discovery they declare war on each other. Grasada invaded the small third-rate planet of Nalzdia in order to build a base near this new galaxy code named the Neo Reef. Nalzdia had a small militia that tried to fend off Grasada, but sadly lacked the numbers despite their advanced training. Grasada quickly took total control over Nalzdia. The poor planet was the site of many battles between Aeonix and Grasada which left everything in ruins. Many rebellions started as a cause of this.
3 years after the battles started a strange floating tower was found amongst an asteroid belt. Both sides thought if they could claim this tower they would control the Neo Reef. The largest space battle the universe had ever seen took place. In the end it appeared Grasada had won the war. That was not to be…
Grasada immediately began their studies of the tower. They brought back a piece of rock from the surrounding asteroids to Nalzdia. After a few weeks a plague began to spread amongst the people. In a matter of months, the already ravaged the planet, suffered from something far worse than war. Anyone who caught this terrible, unknown disease shortly dies a cruel death. The symptoms are very similar to that of anemia, but the results much more severe. The Grasada troops were forced to flee Nalzdia and return to their home planet. All the researchers and those stationed near the tower were never to be heard from again. Very few of the Nalzdia people escaped this plague. Those who did had nothing. Just empty shells of their former live. The war was put on hold and the planet lost. These very events earned that tower the name Pandora.
The game starts with the main character, Anja. He originates from the far off planet of Lunet, which has a long history of racial tension. Not so much tension as it would be called "cleansing." His race, the Kjema, were often hunted down because of their unique ability of telepathy. Anja has no memory of his parents thanks to them being killed when he was so young. The closest thing to a mother he ever had was his older sister Elsa. They managed to hide out in a cave for several years until Elsa was spotted by an enemy while collecting herbs for her deathly ill brother. When she returned they launched a rocket into the cave, destroying her and almost finishing off Anja. The poor sap lost his right arm, vocal cords, and... what technically makes him a man.
Long after these events, he runs an orphanage with his girlfriend Yulie, far from Lunet. It is a place for children who lost everything during the constant Aeonix and Grasada conflicts. As the plaque spreads, Anja worries for the well being of the orphans. This terror comes closer to them every day. He heads out towards the source, in hope to find some way to protect his loved ones. Alas, his ship is shot down just before he could reach Pandora. Death a certainty, he closes his eyes in preparation for his long rest. Several minutes pass and he opens his eyes, confused as to why he still exists. He sees stars all around him meaning he is still in space. Before Anja is able to come to any conclusions he hears a voice. "Cannot let you die just yet. Time for you to fulfill your end of the pact."
Next stop a brief bio on the characters. I realized that Lausen is using a character with the same name in his project, so if you feel I should change his name to prevent any confusion I shall do so, buddy.
CHARACTERS
Braxen Nova, The Crimson Rogue: Is a disturbed man from the planet of Nalzdia which had a small, but very powerful militia. He, along with all of the other residents, was put through harsh training as kids until the of age 15. Braxen’s skills were amongst the greatest of the lot. He is more than aware of his talent and rubbed it in the others faces. After Grasada invaded they used Nalzdia soldiers to do their dirty work. During some of the work that his group (Nalites) was involved in he rebelled against them and stole a Grasadan ship in the process. Ever since, Braxen has constantly interfered with any of the Grasadan’s actions, regardless of what they are doing. This has given him the nickname of the Crimson Rogue.
Majina, The Ruthless: One of the few humanoid residents of Pandora and Croix’s right hand. She left plenty of traps to bring forth an unpleasant demise. Worst of all, is she delights in torturing people who venture out into Pandora. To run into her, is the worst sort of luck one can have. Majina feels nothing for anyone other than her master. Note that she is also an accomplished sharpshooter. Her weapon of choice is an old time pistol that actually uses bullets. The bullets, however, are made of a strange metal only found around Pandora.
Orpheus, Master of Strings: The weakest of Croix’s henchmen, but his strength isn’t what kills you. He has the bizarre ability to control his enemies with a simple tune. If you aren’t careful, you will be cut down by your own allies. The source of his powers is believed to come from the large harp that he is bound to. Orpheus despises his master for trapping him with this very harp. He’ll more than show his anger to anyone that walks by… which is bad if you want to live.
Vlosak Veenush, The Butcher: Originally he was a low ranking member of Aeonix’s Covert Execution Squad (ACES.) The purpose of the squad was to silence opposition without revealing their very existence. They were most active on Nalzdia during the frequent skirmishes with Grasada. However, one fateful day, ACES found themselves ambushed. There was a mole in Aeonix intelligence which revealed the squad’s location. That mole was none other than Vlosak, himself. He quickly flew through the ranks to become a captain of the Grasadan forces. Soon after earning this rank Nalzdia was taken over. His cruelty during battle has granted him many nicknames, such as: Desert Raptor, White Devil, and the most common one, The Butcher. Slavok has been missing ever since he took a squad into Pandora, years ago. All that was found of the squad were there severed heads at the entrance. None of his remains were discovered.
Isaac, The Immortal: He is an unusual man with a rather disturbing past. While still in the mother's womb he was placed with a curse which causes him to absorb almost any matter he touches. In result, his mother and hometown became victim to this before he even exited her body. This event caused him to be hunted down every day of his life. For a short period of time, he found happiness with a woman named Stella. They even adopted several cursed children. She eventually fell victim to his pursuers. Isaac is wanted by the Grasadan Empire for mass homicide from his several attempts at bringing her back to life.
Idol: One of the last remaining Forgotten. As the name implies, they are a race which has since escaped human memory. He was once used by the Mav known as Onderre Yggra to do his dirty work. Once Onderre was done with him, he banished Idol to the cold void of Zero World. After several millennia had passed, Idol’s plan of escaping that hell succeeded. By summoning the souls of the dead and resurrecting them into the physical realm, he had his minions kill off Mav Onderre and Mav Odinus Nyte. In doing so, he finally returned to this realm.
Bedlam, The Perfect Imperfection: They are conjoined twins which are a big exception to the average health of those born attached. Not only are they perfectly healthy, but their bodies worked 2 times more effective than the average human. The Aeonix scientists did not overlook such potential subjects. After a vast amount of experiments the two became far more than human in the strength department. Bedlam could in fact not just take on a grizzly bear unarmed, but finish the animal off. While being transported to Nalzdia for the war effort, they escaped from the best defense system money can buy. This clearly showed that they were more than just muscle heads. They have yet to be seen after this incident. Another odd tidbit of information is that for some odd reason both go by the name Bedlam.
Okay, you guys can rest now.
