I'd like to get a concealed handgun license eventually. I'm not sure how often I'd actually carry a gun around, but it would be nice to have that option.

I dunno. He may have been hit in the back trying to run away through the house. I know theres something about how after trying to still attack somebody when they try to flee is supposed to be very bad. Like that Texas guy a while ago that shot that dude in the back with a shotgun when he was robbing his neighbors house.

The kids family is also probably stirring up a **** storm over how killing their son was using too much force, or some such crap even though he fired 5 tims at the poor guy, and was trying to steal stuff.

I vaguely remember some story about a man getting sued by some robber that broke into his house and hurt himself.

Yeah. I think another issue is the age of the kid. I mean, nobody really wants to say killing a seventeen year old kid should be allowed in a case.

But I do agree with you.

Why states should allow Make My Day laws.

                  Don't know what that is?

Actually, there was an incident like that around where I live. Five teenagers were breaking into an old guy's house, and then the guy shot one of them after they pulled a weapon on him. I don't remember the exact details, but I remember there was a huge fuss over the incident.
