    Desert Island Discs

I tried this in my own forum a LONG time ago, and did not get a big response, so let's try it here. Assuming you have a DVD player/Blu-Ray player, and the requisite gaming system(s) (and obviously a power supply), what 10 games, CDs, and movies would you want if you were stranded on a desert island? When I make my choices, I try to have some variety, as I'm ostensibly stuck on a deserted island, thereby possibly leaving off the list some titles that might otherwise qualify as favorites or "top ten" choices. Also, for albums, I specifically chose studio albums, not best-of compilations.

    Ten CDs

    Mazzy Star-Among My Swan
    Sigur Ros-Agaetis Byrjun
Guided by Voices-Under the Bushes, Under the Stars
    Stereolab-Mars Audiac Quintet
    Joy Division-Unknown Pleasures
Aphex Twin-Selected Ambient Works, Vol 2
    Ministry-Psalm 69
    Nick Drake-Bryter Layter
    The Doors-The Doors
    The Velvet Underground-And Nico

    Ten films

    Picnic at Hanging Rock
    Boogie Nights
    Aliens
    Heavenly Creatures
    Waking Life
    The Road Warrior
    [Safe]
    Apocalypse Now
    High Fidelity
    Pan's Labyrinth

    Ten video games

    flower
    FFTA2
    Rock Band 2
    Etrian Odyssey II
    Korg DS-10
    100 Classic Books (DS)
    RPG Maker 3
    Oblivion
    Puzzle Quest
    Mario Kart DS

All right...have at it. If you wish to make a shorter list (5 of each), by all means. I just wouldn't be able to narrow it down myself, so I did ten.

What has this crazy world come to now that Funk is listing The Dark Knight above Shawshank?

EDIT: Also, you cheated by having 2 "greatest hits" compilations on your list.

You've got game consoles and a DVD player...what more do you want?

I think being stranded on a deserted island by YOURSELF kinda precludes internet, or you could just listen to any album or watch any movie you wanted to online. And I know you're talking about gaming, but all of your choices are meant to be solitary experiences.
