Prinny: Can I really be the hero?

Do you think I should buy this game or not? I never played a Disgaea game until Disgaea 3 came out on the PS3. I had no idea what kind of game it was except that it was a turn-based strategy game that had a quirky sense of humor. After playing it for a few hours, it charmed my pants off. My favorite series of characters are the Prinnys. In light of that, I thought I might really like this game. So, do you thing I should buy it, or is my money better spent elsewere, dood?

"Prinny" got very decent reviews and is supposed to be a pretty funny game. I don't have the PSP so I couldn't buy this game even if I wanted to (and I DO want to, because I loved the first two Disgaeas), but yeah, if you like action/platformer games, this sounds like a safe buy for you.

Prinnies are suppose to be abused and mistreated, not heroes.

        They're both!

The game is basically Ghosts n Goblins with Disgaea universe characters.

That's not a bad thing, though (for me at least). The game is pretty hard(core) and they even give you 1,000 lives knowing that you'll still lose all of them by the end of the game. When you choose easy mode, Prinny berates you by saying "Perfect for casuals."

It's pretty much the only thing NIS put out that ISN'T like everything NIS puts out.

I never even heard of this. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

It's a somewhat obscure title that just came out recently, so that's probably why you haven't heard of it.

I read about this some time ago, and it piqued my interest very slightly.

Also Mudvayne, the game is not even out yet to the best of my knowledge.

this game is causing a pretty big ripple among the NIS fans (they hate it!). i got the special edition box and the OST is great. there's also a dumb and not funny penny arcade comic in the insert

EDIT: oh yeah, the less time you have to complete all of the levels the harder each level gets. it's actually better to complete the harder levels first and move on to the easier ones. i lost 100 lives in that magma place (THEM ****ING NINJAS MAN)

What are NIS fans? Im guessing they are the FATLUS kids that can only play RPGs and grinding for a million hours to make the game eadier is the only way they can play.
