Loco Roco 2 just came out, and Patapon 2 is on the way soon. I love the fact that both games were $20 each in their initial incarnations, both built up enough word of mouth and a fanbase, positive reviews, and sales, and yet both have their sequels priced at $20. I could easily see both being priced at the standard PSP price of $30 as they are both semi-established, and would undoubtedly generate sales. Yeah, Mora's probably gonna bring up some economics formula or graph of price vs sales, and what price point would maximize profitability, but my point is that I do appreciate Sony still trying to garner goodwill with PSP owners.
Ditto with Noby Noby Boy being $5, but that's a different topic.
Any discussion of Loco Roco 2 (which I picked up yesterday) or Patapon 2 is also certainly welcome.
