I have a strange urge to get something entertaining. Don't know what it is, so I guess I'll start with anime. Looking for something that has a good amount of action yet also makes you think. Something that actually has some emotion to it. Hope that makes sense. I prefer to get entire series, so something that has a collection of them or whatever, if possible. Any suggestions? Mora and Magus don't bother saying Evangelion. I already have it. :3

Anyone that mentions Naruto or One Piece will be shot.

You gotta think a lot or you got lost. Plenty of emotion in them too. Especially the episode with the guy who was a special ops soldier in South America who goes crazy and starts mimicking his assignment from 10 years ago in present day(actually like 30 years into the future for us) Tokyo. He was a psy-ops guy who sowed terror and destroyed morale by skinning people!

Crazy stuff, crazy cool that is!

Do not watch Prince of Tennis! That was the worst idea for a show since Bill Cosby Goes to Prison.

I'd recommend the OAV "Please Save My Earth." That **** will really make you think.

Big O... full of great action and characters but it's even more maddening than Evangelion in some respects.

Big O is basically what Batman:The Animated Series would have been like if Batman had a giant robot and an Android maid as a sidekick instead of Robin. He even has the oldman Butler that can kickass when needed.

i really enjoyed cowboy bebop if you havent experienced that awesomeness yet. ghost in the shell is also great - one im currently enjoying. there are a few other good ones out there but i cant remember their titles.

Get Case Closed. The new dvd was just released, which I have been waiting for a long time now. 21 new eposides that we haven't seen yet.

Here and There, Now and Then.

First episode sets up a generic sci-fi plot and then the 2nd episode kicks you in the balls, tugs on your heart strings, then snips them.

By the last episode like 2 of the 10 main characters live and one of them is disfigured. It's not even particularly violent the source material (child soldiers) is handled very well and King Hamdo is such a great villain.
