I do well at writing stories in english class. I always do good in content but bomb in grammar. On my movie review I got a eleven out of ten for content and ten out of ten for content management. However I got a two and a half on grammar out of five. On my story I got ten out of ten for content and content management, and a four out of five on vocabulary and scentence structure. But I got a three out of five for grammar. So I want you guys to go grammar nazi crazy on me, aslong as you take the time to type a scentence or two explaining why what I did was wrong.

I wouldn't be able to do that until Tuesday.Originally posted by EvilNixon666 View PostYou should post an example what you've already written for your class, if possible.Last edited by Big Country; 02-12-2009, 08:24 PM.

English is a language, and must be capitalized.
You do well, not good.
When your article ('a' in this case) precedes a word that begins with a vowel, use 'an' instead. If it precedes a word that begins with a consonant use 'a.'
Avoid run-on sentences. Compound your sentences with commas and conjunctions (FANBOY: For, and, nor, but, or, yet... i think).
There were more, but this is tiring.stodi no na ka cenba

Re: Need Grammar Help Now!
when your grammar sucks what you should do is try and use as little of it as possible and not take any chances.
seriously, youre in high school your teacher wont even notice the difference between complex sentences and "see spot run" and im pretty sure she'll be happy that youre even literate.
i took a principals of grammars class and stupid linguistics classes and god i feel like i wasted so much time because english is always changing and it turns out that most of the rules are flexible and change over time so besides being fluent in english whats the point of learning its intricacies instead of having english grammar inevitably bend its rules around the way that you use grammar? youre not wrong man its the ****ing grammars that are wrong.Last edited by peachy; 02-13-2009, 08:00 AM.420yolo!!!!!!111
