OK, so they come in red and orangish-yellow, as well, but if you go into Subway and ask for BELL peppers, I will put our large GREEN peppers on your sub, because the small yellow peppers that we have are NOT bell peppers, they are banana peppers a.k.a. mild peppers, peppercinis, salad peppers, and about ten other things. For a bell pepper to be a bell pepper, it has to be LARGE and bell shaped. That is all.

BTW, I love peppers, especially jalapeņos.
