Want to speed up your internet times? Here's a quick, free way to do it without installing any software.

Go into your internet settings and enter 208 67 222 222 in your DNS server box, and 208 67 220 220 in the alternate DNS server box. You should now be surfing the Internet at faster speeds, courtsey of OpenDNS. If you encounter any problems, just change it back to "Obtain a DNS server address automatically". You're welcome.

You can "hack" just about any modem to give yourself crazy fast speeds. Your service provider will detect the huge speed spike though, and cut you off.

they want you to sign up and stuff, it looks more like a hidden agenda then a quick internet. besides the fine print avoids saying the internet will be faster and just mention it being free of malicious software.

Why the heck is everyone making such a big deal over this? All it is is a service that obtains the IP address of websites quicker. Like I said, if it gives you trouble just revert your Internet setting back to the way it was. Sheese...
