    Zombies in area! RUN

There were some new zombie warnings in Austin.

The hackers must've forgotten that most of Tex-ass is well armed. We'll show those un-dead freaks why they call us the "friendship state."

oh my god, this is a travesty! we must crack down on these sign hooligans with stringent safetly protocols. rule 1: no wearing shoes while driving by sign. rule 2: no tools allowed in cars while driving by sign. please stow all tools in a second car going to the same destinantion but taking a different route that will not take it near the sign

That is awesome beyond all reason.

      And I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't
So here's to drinks in the dark at the end of my road

The signs near the intersection of Lamar and Martin Luther King boulevards
That's near Tyrone Street and Shanequa Avenue, isn't it?

When I first read this I thought about Zombieland.

They're filming it at the amusement park I work at. I wonder if it'll see the theaters.

I saw this on the news as well... had me laughing.

It reminded me of the time someone hacked into the display sign system on the GO transit trains a year ago... they made the signs say "Steven Harper likes to eat babies."

For those unfamilar with Canadian's government, Mr. Harper is our Prime Minister.

I would have been very disappointed had I not seen any zombies after driving past that sign.

Damn, I was going to post this after seeing it on my local newscast, but you beat me, Nixon.

The houston newscast didn't make it their TOP STORY though. Is tomorrow's top story going to be about a gay guy who walks his cat?

That's awesome. I would love to hack one of those signs someday and write something hilarious too, but lack the gumption. >_>

yes, jail to the sign changers.

pretty cool to change signs to say that.

It seems like it would be a very simple thing to do. If a person here can figure out RPGM, I'm pretty sure they could figure this out.

Gumption is courage, so has nothing to do with complexity.

Anyway, this is freakin' AWESOME. I do understand the concern about hacking a sign that's there, ostensibly, for safety... but come on, this is too funny to be mad at! If I caught these hackers, I'd hand them a medal.
