    Animation Software

I want to buy some animation software, but don't know which is the best.

My top two choices are Anime Studio Five (the Pro version, hopefully) and Abode Flash (the latest verion). The animations I want to make are anime-style, and I'm told both can be capable.

Has anyone out there ever used this software? If so, can you please tell me which is better (if that really isn't asking too much). Or perhaps recomend me different software....I'm completely at a loss with this sorta thing.

Never heard of Anime Studio Five, but Flash is very easy to work with. If you're making games, then i got no clue.

Flash is good for making games and animations.

How about Blender? I bought the book and software a while ago at borders for about $45. It seemed to pretty easy to use. Plus they have a good website with plenty of tutorials. It makes really good movies. Here is the site http://www.blender.org

I'm not sure if its even around nowadays. But 4 years ago I used Lightwave, and 3D studio max.

Lightwave was incredibly user friendly, you could pick it up and do the basic stuff in minutes.

Edit: I'm thinking of a different kind of program. Ignore me!

          And I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't

Argh. Flash animations. If your going to make flash animations MAKE THEM GOOD. Theres already heaps and heaps of stupid crappy flash animations out on the internet that people make. Make yours able to stand up in the pile of ****.

Do it the oldschool, newschool way. Use a program that just strings together pictures, and make every frame in Photoshop working with layers and whatnot. YYYEEEAAAAHHH!!

Actually, I DID try that (got a free and legal version online), but, well, long story short:

<- (162's reaction after blindly attempting to use Blender)

My past attempt with using GameStudio's lite-c program kinda left me with a bit of shell shock. My main issue is having to deal with computer code (which I suck at). I'm worried that I'll spend all that money and be stuck dealing with that sorta thing.
