I want to get a good puzzle game for PS2. Any suggestions?

To give you an idea what kind of game I like: loved Intelligent Qube on PS1, think the recent Tetris games (Worlds, etc.) are just stupid.

Well, not that many good puzzle games have been released in the US for PS2 recently, however the odd "Katamari Damacy" most people seem to enjoy is a bit of a kicker, from the looks of it.

Myself, I don't really have it, but perhaps someone here can give you the skinny.

Its not really a puzzle game, your timed while rolling a ball around trying to make it bigger with objects on earth that stick to it. Its labled as one, but I mean there is no puzzle solving to it, you just roll over stuff according to size. So yeah.......its not a puzzle game at all..

I.O. Remix, but has been reviewd as fairly crappy (http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/puzzle/iqremixintelligentqube/review.html)

Frequency isn't a puzzle game, its a rhythm game.

Off the top of my head the only puzzle game I can think of is that fireworks game that was released alongside the system.

Yeah, I mean, there's plenty of GREAT puzzle games you can play on PS2 that are actually PSone games. Like Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo.

Super Bust a Move~

Or, if you can import stuff, try SWITCH! (aka "panic"). A dumbed-down version of came out for the Sega Saturn (it's not bad), but the PS2 version is really sweet. I've never seen another puzzle game like it... but I don't play a lot of them, so who knows?

Adventures of Cookie and Cream is really good, though.

Aqua Aqua (http://ps2.ign.com/articles/164/164413p1.html)

Never played it, but it's the highest rated puzzle game on ign...

IGN... the same website that gave Napoleon Dynamite a 5.6

I don't think I need to say anything else on the matter.

Yeah, it also gave high scores to Kingdom Hearts and Xenosaga.
