They are already here. You know those sounds you hear at night in your house, that you just brush off as your cat or dog, or just the wind? Thats them. In your house.

Fire in the Sky instilled a permanent fear of aliens in me when I was young. Not like big mean aliens from monster movies and things(I love Alien and other kinds of movies), but more the small tiny ones with big wide eyes and tiny long fingers that would love to drag you away. You want to scream for help but you cant move, and are helpless to do anything as they take you away. I bet they peek in through my windows when Im not looking at night. OH GOD.

I hope there is life elsewhere because it would be incredibly lame to have this whole vast universe and only one little rock has anything happening on it. When you think about it, it seems far less realistic to think that that is the case. As far as aliens on Earth, if any have ever swung by I doubt they saw anything interesting enough to hang around.

Really? Cause if I seen a moon bug or something I would be way interested. I bet if they seen this little blue planet full of us people that they would definitely be intrigued.

Ok think of it like this:

There is like an infinite amount of stars out there up in Space.

Now the fact that earth is close enough but has enough distance from the sun to hold life on it is a mathmatical probability of something probably near infinite.

However, no matter how large that probability is, it probably can't match the number of stars that are in the universe. We can guess how large space really is, but if you think about it, who knows if it really ends. It's probably infinite. Or perhaps it is circular, just like an orb ((we thought the planet was flat at one time ))

Even still, the chance a planet could inhabit a star in much the same orbit is there. So that really then says, Yes, there could be life on that planet. They could be as advanced as we are. Or there could just be dinosaurs living there.

I'm inclined to believe that somewhere out there, there is a planet other then ours that teems with life.

Right now they're melting our ice caps and increasing the ocean size so they can move in with their cousins, the cuttlefish.

I'm sure they'd find us fascinating but I figure anything that can traverse the cosmos can do all the observing they want from afar. I just meant I doubt anything that advanced would see any reason to conquer/invade/abduct us. Then again, in keeping with your moon bug analogy, we do tend to pull wings off bugs, put them in jars or ant farms, or just plain screw with them just for kicks.

I believe in ailens, but I don't believe they're here.

I mean, think about it. How long have we been able to pick up radio waves? And this whole time, not a peep from anything, anywhere.

There's almost certainly other life, but if it's near us, it's stupid little bacteria. If there's sentient life that's able to traverse space, they would have to have a way to travel faster than the speed of light to be here. If they can do that, they are far smarter than us and would do more productive things than zipping around in the sky and abducting people for kicks,

Why does the planet always need earth-like conditions.

Logic? The conditions in which life has already developed versus conditions in which the possibility of life is unknown.
