So, I was robbed last night.

Sometime between midnight and 2 am last night, someone broke into my house and stole my PS3 while I was away drinking at a friend's house... I have reason to suspect it was one of those ****ing junkies I've been associating with recently. Live and learn. What hurts moreover than the fact that I'll be bored ****less, is that my trust was betrayed by someone who knew me. Probably someone I considered a friend.

Regardless, I won't be on as much, if at all, for awhile, at least.

In my town there's been a series of armed robberies going on of late. Guys who come to your door, point a shotgun in your face, beat you up, and steal your belongings. Makes me wary of even opening the door to guests.

I've been stolen from before, and I've had my house broken into before. Both suck ass.
    ...and that's why.

      I know how you feel.

      Last week, I lost:

      DVDs:

      Mad Max
      Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome
      The Postman
      The Roadwarrior
      Rollerball
      The Running Man
      Screamers
      Soldier
      Soylent Green
      Strange Days
      Tank Girl
      THX-1138
      Tooth and Nail
      Total Recall
      28 Weeks Later
      20 Years After
      Warriors of the Wasteland
      Waterworld

      Gaming-related devices:

      Playstation 2
      Controller
      Memory Card
Gran Turismo 4 (no case; it was inside the stolen PS2)

If it was a junkie that stole my **** for drugs, that would just add more insult to my loss...

If someone ever breaks in while I'm there, they are going to have a blowtorch applied to their face.

I slept with my baseball bat last night.

I have never been robbed before because no would want to break into my place.

Man, that sucks. PS3s are very expensive. =( Not to mention your security feels violated. Baseball bat up some ****ers.

I've had CD players stolen out of my truck twice now, once in a gated community, and it's the sickest feeling when you realize you've had your **** stolen.

Who was it that left all their gaming stuff in a bag on top of their car while they drove away? I still laugh about that, in a commiserating kind of way.

Totally. I've been robbed in the past, and it always makes me feel horrible.

Sorry you guys had your consoles jacked. That's the worst.

The consoles are replacable; the data on the memory card taken is not. Some of my RPGM project was backed up on that card.

I had one of my old PSone memory cards stolen when my roommate's friends stole my games. It had all my squaresoft RPG game saves on it. I know that's not the same thing, but I can understand how much that blows.

I feel my trust was violated more than anything, as I strongly suspect a few of my oxtcotin addicted (would be) friends.

                            PS3 has an internal harddrive.
