Valk, this may be a dumb question, but...

Are the Field of Dreams contest entries even available on the site for people to download? I looked through the full games and demos for RPGM3, and did not see them anywhere. Are they linked from the contest forum or something?

Reason I'm asking is, once the submisions are in for the minigame contest, are they going to be available for others to download, like maybe toward the bottom of the demo section or something, like the garbage games are in the full RPGM3 games area?

I was thinking that both "small" (ie-minigame and Field of Dreams) contest entries could be put on the site in this way.

I've hinted in the minigame contest thread that I'd like to submit something along with the legitimate entries (which of course will not be eligible to be judged/win anything) just to have an extra entry for this thing in case we don't get a lot, and also to motivate me to work with the software again. Thing is, I've got some unpublished minigames I'm in the process of polishing up to submit, but if there's not going to be a place where it can easily be found, the hook for what I'm trying to do is gonna be irrelevant, and there'd almost be no point in releasing it. That, and all the entries in both contests deserve to be in an easy-to-locate spot in order to promote their respective creators' work.

Or maybe I'm just dumb and missing something....

Yeah, the Field of Dreams maps are available from the Contests page.

Since they're just maps, I don't think they belong in the games or demos sections. so yeah, they're on the contest page.

Yeah...I actually saw the link to the maps from the Contest section on the front page after posting this.

But that still does not answer the question for the current contest...as these are more game-like than just maps, are they gonna be able to be downloaded from the RPGM3 demo section, which I personally think is the ideal place for them? Or are they gonna be linked to from the Contest section on the main page?

if they're games, they go in games. if they're demos, they go in demos.

minigames would go in games, as they are not demos.

I've got two days off in a row, so I'm gonna get cracking on finishing up my "entry." It might possibly be done before the end of Monday. Now I just need to remember how to pull the save off of the virtual memory card and submit it.
