Not to reroute the topic's direction necessarily, but what do you think a good length for a game is? I think we are all fairly aware that the 40 to 100 hour epic RPGs are not always something that gamers of our (erm....your) age really have time for anymore, unlike when we were kids without real-world responsibilities.
So does an action-oriented game NEED to be 15-25 hours? What about Mirror's Edge? The main game is unquestionably short, but does that make it any less worth the $60? Same with Heavenly Sword. Granted, 4 hours IS extremely short, and if there's no replay value, then maybe this argument is valid. But playing devil's advocate here, how short is too short for a full-priced game?
If you guys wanna continue to discuss the awesomeness or lack thereof of Heavenly Sword, ignore this post. But if you've got something to say about game length vs perceived value, please post.

I'm not picky and super long games don't hold me over like they used to so I use theater as a rule of thumb for how long a game should be. For 8$ I can be entertained by a 90 minute movie so I expect at least an hour and a half of gameplay per 8$ in the price. For $16 I can get more entertainment from the theater than Heavenly Sword.
60$ for a 4-6 hour game is just atrocious IMO.
10-15 hours is the sweet spot for me and it wil usually take me 2 weeks to a month to beat on my schedule. 20 hours is pushing it and any longer I start to drift away to other games which is how my huge backlog was created.
