An example blog entry so you can see what to expect:
16 Last Seed, Day 1, Entry 1.
10 AM
Diary,
I picked you up out of the offices of those imperial men. Right now you're naught but a quill pen and a rough sheet of papyrus. I will find better tools with which to record my journey later. With how many blackouts I have been having lately, I think it is necessary to record what has happened from now on. Curse this headache!
I have been shipped out and thrust upon this land against my will. The guard said it was Emperor Uriel Septim the.... the... bah! His number escapes me. He said it was by his order. Order me around, hah! I serve no one but my own!
I suppose they would call me a rogue of sorts. So I cheated some women out of their money. So what? Throw me in jail and ship me out to a godforsaken isle for that? My belongings were taken. I was treated like scum - a man of my calibur, SCUM! How dare they! All throughout the night I had fitful dreams. I saw red ash storms swirling about the face of a mountain. A woman's voice echoed through my head, and then I awoke to the smelliest half naked dumner I ever laid eyes on. He dares to tell me to keep quiet as the guard comes up. Surely I deserve better. They ordered me off the ship, checked my papers and asked for my name, Dork. Then a regal-looking guard gave me 'duties' to carry out, and shoved me out the door.

Now I am outside in this degenerate little town. I suppose I will ask around and see if I can find my way off of this barren rock.
16 Last Seed, Day 1, Entry 2.
7 PM

I now sit on top of a lighthouse, but I suppose I should recall why. You see, I was asking around town for help. At first I spoke to this quivering twig of a wood elf. He was looking for a ring. Couldn't have been my ring, the one I found in the guards quarters that just happens to have the same healing enchantment he describes. Tough luck to him, I suppose.

Other townsfolk offered to give me advice, but they rattled off inane dribble instead. I decided that the best place to gather information would be in the bar, my favorite sort of place. There I found a stocky nord, excellent fellow. Said he was looking for some gold. I thought perhaps him being the foreigner, he might know how to get off this rock, so I agreed to help him.

He said some person named Fargoth had won his money in a bad game of chance, and now he wants it back. I am to wait atop the lighthouse to discover Fargoth's hiding place. And that's why I'm here. Waiting until midnight. That nord had better have some information for me.

12 AM
There he is! It is the same skulking figure of a wood elf as the one I spoke to earlier this morning!

He walks over to a pond with a dead tree stump in it... and... Nothing. He retreats to his house. That must be the hiding spot!
17 Last Seed, Day 1, Entry 4.
1 AM
Curse that moronic Nord! I wanted information, not a spine-cracking pat on the back! I should have just kept the 300 gold I found in that tree stump. He took 200 of it, gave the rest to me, and said he knew nothing of any way off the island. Bah!
17 Last Seed, Day 2, Entry 5.
7 AM
After a long night of no sleep, I have decided that the sooner I deliver this confounded parcel to Caius Cosades, the sooner I can leave the island. I have set out to Balmora.

Diary! A giant worm just attacked me! What manner of foul creatures live on this island??

I see a man in the distance. He looks friendly enough. Perhaps he knows a shortcut to Balmora.

This man is no friend at all! He demands I pay him 50 coin for safe passage. Outrageous!

17 Last Seed, Day 2, Entry 6.
10 AM
Diary,
I am 50 coins short now. The brigand beat me within an inch of my life, I had no choice! I am a failure of a rogue. Why was I sent to this godforsaken rock? I just want to go home!
I feel the headache coming on. The blackouts are coming back. Who knows where I'll end up this time?
