Rules:
1. Must have Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and both its expansions. This can be found at any computer game store for $20 or less. We won't start until everyone participating has or is on their way to getting a copy.
2. Game must not have any gameplay-altering mods in effect (Better Bodies and similar graphical enhancements are OK, added weaponry/enemies/quests are not). In order to remove these mods, go to the Morrowind Launcher and open Data Files, and deselect all of the mods in question.
3. Those participating will be randomly(subject to change to do scheduling issues) ordered from first to last. The first person will be given a save state with a character with random stats/classes/abilities, beginning where Morrowind begins just after you set your character in stone.
4. Each person will play the game for 7 in-game days (paying attention to how much they rest/wait), and upon completion of the 7th day they will save state and send the file to the next person to play (and to me in case the file is lost or damaged). You have 1 real-life week to finish your turn. If you do not/are not able, the save state you started on will be sent to the next person in line, and you will be moved down to the last person in the list.
5. During your turn, you will be expected to detail the in-game events on the forum in the form of a diary written by the Hero being played. Screenshots are optional but recommended. We will assume that our Hero has a multiple personality disorder for the purposes of allowing each player the freedom to do what they want. I will post an example of what to expect later.
6. Save often, dying will not be part of the story. If you die, revert to the previous save and start over from there (in the diary too).
7. Should a player break any of the rules or screw up the game to be COMPLETELY unplayable (how do you manage that?) the game will be reverted to the previous save.
8. Game will continue until all the players have had a turn. Each turn will be posted in the Video Games forum in a topic in an episodic manner. Upon completion it will be decided here whether or not we should continue, start over, or add more players to the list.
If you can think of anything else, or any revisions to this list, discuss here.
