The Uninvited - US remake of Tale of Two Sisters

The moment I saw the trailer I knew it had to be a remake of the movie. I really enjoyed Tale of Two Sisters so I have high hopes for this one.

One of the actors is the girl from A Series of Misfornute Events.

    Comes out Jan 30.

i'm waiting for the mystery/horror/suspense movie surprise ending where the entire previous 2 1/2 hours of well built narrative and gripping suspense are revealed to actually be a writer pitching an idea to a movie executive, which is promptly rejected. then, as the writer leaves the studio, he's attacked by the horrible monster/ghost that was in his movie pitch. at which point he wakes up and it's all just a dream. HE HASN'T BEEN TO SEE THE EXECUTIVE YET

    dun dun duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun

it's the only original "oh my god i can't believe that/those people wern't real" ending hollywood has left

Is this the one where in the commercials all the monsters and ghosts have upside down heads? UPSIDE DOWN = SCARY BOOGA BOOGA

No that is the Unborn. Not sure why both movies are coming out nearly at the same time.

I made that movie yeeeears ago.

Except it was a writer pitching a new book to a publisher.

I think it's love, even if she's starring in an awful looking remake of one of my favorite movies

I want to punch the person that first thought that "and then he woke up" was a good idea.
