I've been rapping for five years, but the majority of the songs I created were used with low-quality, computer microphones. Consequently, the quality of the music suffered, there was constant background noise, and static was inevitable. People had been telling me to purchase a professional microphone since at least late-2005, but I kept procrastinating. Money was the main issue, of course. I was informed that to get the greatest quality of music, I would have to spend upwards of 500 dollars for equipment, and I could not relinquish that.
I finally decided to get one though: http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com...one?sku=271009
I purchased it not only because I needed higher quality recordings, but the mic I had used to recorded a good 80 percent of the songs on my music page finally broke. As Obright told me last night, this is indeed a sign. I need to step my game up and produce more professional recordings. Hell, this may even give me a chance to re-record the Pavilion songs I made earlier this year. I can't wait for it to get here.
