What's allowed in the regular forums? What isn't allowed? The current rules are not clear at all on content aside from flaming, roms, and a few other topics. I'd like to know so that I can do my "job" here.

I'm not down with that.

If I don't know the rules, I can't enforce them.

I just want clarification on exactly what's allowed topic/content wise and what's not.

For example: talking about drugs in the free forum.

I asked Valk (since I thought agetec made the rules as to what's allowed and what's not), but was directed to John Mora. I posted this here in so that everyone could read it and add to it if they have questions.

I'd be tempted to edit them out, but the rules say only perverse comments should be outright not allowed, so until we get a complaint about the drug comments, I guess they'll stay.

What about links to things that have swearing (text, video, etc)?

So I guess as long as people don't make perverse comments, everything else (save the random FAQ stuff) is a-okay.

Well, for the youtube thread, I think Valk himself complained about the number of links to videos that were not appropriate, mainly language.

Even when I gave a little warning for the language, it was enough to edit my post. Free forum section, since we gotta go by Agetecs general rules,would be to make it more family friendly.

Yeah, if links and stuff have inappropriate stuff like that, best to edit them out. But kudos to the brave soul with enough time and determination to sniff out every bad word in every link.

I can't help it, I get off on finding content violations, editing posts, and handing out infractions like they're candy.
