A lot of computer doofuses will either not get it because they don't want to download it/anything for virus-geared reasons or they have a preconceived idea that since IE is made by Microsoft it MUST be the best.

I used IE until I realized that a couple of the minor (very minor) differences between FF and IE made me want to use FF instead. I like Bookmark Buttons and being able to open source code files in the browser instead of opening the massive resource-hog that is Visual Studio by default
