Well, really, anyone is free to post, but as this topic was made to discuss the HD DVD add-on for the Xbox 360, and as Mora is the only one here who I remember ever mentioning owning one, I put his name in the title. :3
So, yeah, my buddy picked one up for me for $40 from Fry's, along with Being John Malkovich and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas for $9 each.
I hunted around the internet today, and found a number of sites offering the discs for as cheap as $4-$6 a piece, and some of those were actually decent.
I ended up ordering BSG Season 1 on HD DVD (GASP!!!), along with the 2 disc Transformers (not my style of movie in the slightest, but a good workout for my setup), and 5 or 6 other movies for a total of $49 and some change with free shipping.
I found more on another site, but it kept telling me the site was unsecure, so I never ordered anything. I'll probably call them on the phone tomorrow, and see if I can order that way.
And I got caught up in the whole search thing today, so I ended up blowing an unreasonable amount of money on Equilibrium and The Machinist on Japanese HD DVD imports, both of which are out of print and not available on Blu-Ray.
