    The 2005 NBA Finals

Yeah, I know that Shaq or Kobe are nowhere in sight, so that means no one cares about the Finals this year. But my team is back, the team that plays ugly, but hard, ball. GO PISTONS!

Man for awhile I thought it was first one to twenty-one wins.

    Go Spurs.

      Worst finals matchup ever.

Wade VS Nash would have been so much better

God, this is the worst game. It's just as boring as I expected.

The only reason this finals is boring is cause of the Pistons.

Don't hate on the spurs, if you saw the PHX series the spurs were more entertaining to watch than the suns.

                  You have a point osiris.

I just read something by Bill Simmons, who is the best sports writer of this century. He said:

I keep reading how this series is going to be boring, how we could have some 50-48 games, how America will be falling asleep by Game 2. Has anyone actually watched the Spurs? What more could you want from a basketball team? They banged bodies with a physical Nuggets team in Round 1, handled Seattle's smallball gimmick in Round 2, then played run-and-gun with the Suns in Round 3. Can you remember another basketball team adapting to three different styles in three rounds like that? San Antonio is more malleable than Russell Crowe.
That changes my perspective a bit.

And Im sorry this matchup cant keep the casual fan's small attention span because the teams present are actually playing defense and basketball as oppose to just scoring, dunking, doing fast breaks, and exchanging baskets ala the All Star Break.

This is real basketball...get over it.

Alzar I read that article on espn.com too, it describes the spurs exactly.

I'm not gonna lie, the spurs used to be boring back in 99 and 03, but now with Parker and Ginobili playing to their potential, they are amazing.

BTW, ginobili is on his way to being the most entertaining player in the NBA.
