    Playstation Home

    Out tommorrow, 12/11/08.

    I don't have a PS3.

    I don't see the need for Home.

    But hey, it's gotta be cool, right?

    No, it's not.

    Anything that could have possibly been cool about Home was removed months ago by Sony's legal department.

    I've "played" the beta version once. I don't see myself ever using it again.

        Looking around at discussion for the beta, a lot of features have been taken out, like watching videos with friends.

        all you can do now in Home is talk and bowl (if the less than 10 total lanes per server aren't filled), and launch other PS3 games. I don't see the point.

            Littlebigplanet and Home both have sooo much potential. It's sad really.

              When it was first announced I thought Home sounded really cool. After some thought and more info my interest waned. When the game specific features for Warhawk, Uncharted, etc was revealed I was interested again. Recently, I watched that 15 minute of the beta and now I finally know for sure. It's boring. Seriously, the most fun I've heard anybody having with it was a bunch of people doing the running man. If people are entertaining themselves with the emotes then there's obviously not much to do.

                  Home isnt perfect, but there are some interesting things about it. Honestly, i hope they use that jukebox thing in the square to help introduce new bands and stuff, instead of playing Top 40 stuff or something.

                      At least Home isn't as pitiful as Xbox's NXE!

                        NXE has some useful aspects, like installing any game to the hard drive.

                        Home is a boring chat room with hideous character models.
