Killzone 2 is not even using 60% of the PS3's processing power.

Can you believe this? This game has a $20,000,000 budget and it isn't even close to maxing out the PS3's processing power. I bet we won't start seeing games take advantage of all the PS3 has to offer until the end of its life-cycle.

Also, take that Gears of War 2! ...Sorry, just felt the need to say that.

Kill Zone 2 looks way better than MGS4, and MGS4 is doable on the 360.

Uum... no. It doesn't look better and no, not without the game being on like 10 disks.

Even if it would take ten disks, it would still be possible. If a game for the PS3 maxed out the PS3's processing power, then it wouldn't be able to be ported to the 360. If MGS4 can be ported to the 360, then it probably didn't max-out the PS3's pontential, unless the 360 really is almost on equal grounds with the PS3.

                Point missed.

But oh well, let's get back to the talking of the game I don't care about.

There is nothing about either system that make them better than the other. I prefer the PS3 for the games (PS3 games and BC... of the models that have them anyway).

MGS4 could exist on the 360, the point is WILL it. It seems unlikely right now, but not a technical standpoint. And MGS4 would not be 10 discs. If what I read on the 'Net was right about it being about 35 gig or so, then it could be on 4 discs.

I think you might be saying that because you finally bought yourself a 360. *gasp*

Anyway, I always thought that GoW2 pushed the 360 almost to its limits, and if it did, and if Kill Zone 2 looks as good, if not better than GoW2, then we could be seeing games on the PS3 looking quite a bit better than what we're seeing on the 360.

No, I've always said this, because it's the truth. the two consoels are almost neck and neck with each other when to comes to their graphic abilities.

Shooters on consoles makes me go "meh".

Unless they have mouse and keyboard support.

Then that would be made of win.

And maxing out the processing power isn't exactly a good thing. At least from what I know about computers and what-not. It's when you start doing that you encounter stupid problems.

                            http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/new...hp?story=18914

Fergusson, Senior Producer of Gears of War 2, says that the 360 is reaching its "upper limits" in terms of graphics. Like I just said, if KZ2 looks as good, if not better than GoW2, then PS3 games will eventually look quite a bit better than 360 games because KZ2 is only using on average 40 to 50 percent of the PS3's power.

I don't put much stock into that. I've heard these arguments before. On TV, the Internet, and anywhere else someone wants to continue this debate on the best system as if it matters.

Naughty Dog employee on TV: "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune uses 30% of the PS3's power, and cannot be duplicated on the 360."

Not to mention I've heard that Call of Duty 4 was the game that took the 360to its utmost limit in quality. Not ALMOST as was your example in Gears 2, but THE MOST. So forgive me if I don't pay too much to these articles.

Killzone 2 still looks great. I'll buy and enjoy in much the same way I bought and enjoyed the first. But I also bought and enjoy Gears 2 on the Xbox 360, and I could care less about the best graphics.
