So, for the past week, I decided it'd be fitting to have another go at my GBA Lufia game. Since this title only has one save slot, I played 30 hours worth using the quick save slot, meaning that if I were to load the game and I turn it off instantly, all that progress goes to ****. Anyway, that game was released 5 years ago, and compared to the previous titles, it falls short. However, I believe there is hope for a comeback, but as of now, I haven't heard any talk of production for a title on any of the current systems. Should I simply keep dreaming? I mean, Lunar DS was a travesty, so what should I do?

Re: I'm really craving another Lufia game
Maaaan, the GBA Lufia is dog**** compared to the SNES Lufia games. I couldn't even force myself to liking it, which is sad considering how much I enjoy the SNES games. You can really tell that the team didn't know how to quite carry on the Lufia spirit.
Listen to the awesome boss battle theme from Lufia 2
It's hard for me to think of another game that is reminiscent of Lufia, other than perhaps the first Wild ARMs. Other than that... Golden Sun 1 and 2, maybe? I don't know if you've played either but I'd especially recommend The Lost Age, given the amount of freedom presents the player, and that the level of challenge is much higher than its predecessor. It's the closest thing you can get to a metroid-style RPG.
EDIT: You should write an angry letter, old skool style.Last edited by Toaster; 12-01-2008, 11:32 PM.

Re: I'm really craving another Lufia game
I honestly tried to plat Golden Sun...and I quit after 15 minutes. I couldn't feel anything about it. I didn't like the battle system, and I wasn't interested in the storyline. As for the letter, I will consider it.Originally posted by Toaster 218 View PostMaaaan, the GBA Lufia is dog**** compared to the SNES Lufia games.
