What are YOU watching?

This thread is about all of the awesome on TV right now, and what you are personally watching. This IS NOT about "I don't have cable" or "TV is for the ignorant masses" etc, etc, especially because you can find almost any show you like online nowadays. Anyways, here's my schedule

Dexter-Still clever, and getting better
True Blood - seasons's over, but loved it, well, at least the last half
King of the Hill- a little formulaic, but fun

How I Met your Mother - the Friends of 2006+
Heroes - quickly losing me since... well, season 1

House - Formulaic, but clever and fun, so who cares?
Law and Order (SVU and regular) - tried and true, a little cheeesy nowadays, but fun all the same.

Pushing Daisies - Same as above, but even more charming and a bit psychedelic, with Kristin Chenowith, so it's auto-win.

Ugly Betty - STILL good into it's3rd season, gayest show on TV, so, you know, auto points there.
The Office - Is this ever going to stop being good?
30 Rock - Is this ever going to stop getting BETTER?

I started watching Lost when G4 first aired it. I've been hooked since. I'm working on catching up before the new season. I just bought season 3 the other day. About 9 episodes in.

Others include Ninja Warrior, Ghost hunters, Psych, Burn Notice, Fresh Prince, South Park, and anything to do with UFC.

@ Lausen: Once you get past those first 6-8 episodes of season 3 (before and just after the hiatus), you're home free.


I guarantee you will think season 3 is a letdown compared to the first two. However, after having seen all 4 seasons, and then going back to watch season 3 again, in my estimation, it is highly underrated.


Oh, this doesn't really count, because it's not on TV anymore, but I'm just starting to watch Veronica Mars.

I also think Lost is getting better and better.

Tonight I watched the Sons of Anarchy season finale, which was okay, and The Shield series finale, which was pretty ****in' good.

I look forward to January for the return of Lost, BSG and 24. My three favorite shows, all on at the same time. Eeeeee~

At some point I'll start up The Wire season 2 and Mad Men.

And an enormous backlog of animez.

I disagree, Perv. I think LOST only gets better as it goes along.

I never denied that fact. I would actually agree. It's just that, for me, the third season was a letdown on first viewing, especially the first 6-8 episodes. And most reviews and the viewship numbers seem to corroborate this.


As I said, though, upon third viewing (first as it was broadcast; second, when the box set came out very soon before season 4 began; and third, a bit after season 4 ended, when I procured it on Blu-Ray), I came to realize that this season was VASTLY underrated. In fact, I'd thus far have to rank the seasons as follows (this might change upon re-viewing season 4 when it's released on Blu-Ray):

Yeah, I know this contradicts my agreeing with you directly above, but this is my list for personal favorites. I still do agree that the show continues to get better, if that makes sense.

Psych, Burn Notice, Ninja Warrior, Stargate Atlantis (final season :_( ), and up until recently, Ghost Whisperer and Heroes.

Both have failed miserably this season and I can't bear to watch them anymore.

Sometimes I'll watch an episode of Monk or House, but not regularly. Same with NCIS.

I watch TV for a living so I tend not to watch any at home. The only program I make sure I watch every week is House.

Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The Office.

I was looking forward to the new season of Dexter but the first episodes writing was so god damn bad I haven't bothered with it at all.

Also the second season of Breaking Bad whenever that starts.
