okay, so I just downloaded the battle royale movie (not released in the US and never will be, so I consider it the same type of thing fansubs are) and the video plays fine. BUT it has an additional "srt" file along with it, for subtitles. nothing I have will play using the subtitles. do I need a new player? a codec? what?

Here.

Download the K-Lite codec mega pack, make sure you install Vobsub.
After that, make sure the .srt file and the movie file have the same filename. After that, it should work.

well, it worked, but now the subtitles are double-layered. a large set, and then a small set layered under them.
nevermind. fixed.
thank you and enjoy your pointless rep boost.Last edited by Valkysas; 06-09-2005, 12:06 AM.
